    Literary Citizenship Seminar

Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 4:00 PM until 5:30 PMEastern Daylight Time UTC -04:00

How do we as writers create a supportive community with each other? How do we champion each other's work in an industry that depends on gatekeeping? How do we keep the faith as we do the important work of storytelling in the modern world?

In this session, we will discuss how we greater facilitate the writer community. This can be through the creation of writing groups, the throwing of community readings, and the sharing of publications and other resources.

This stimulating discussion will be led by Ashland University MFA faculty members Nayomi Munaweera, joined by Terese Mailhot, Kate Hopper, Edan Lepucki, Cass Donish, Vanessa Angelica Villarreal, Kyle Winkler, Adam Gellings, Marcelo Hernandez Castillo and Lisa Nikolidakis.

Please bring your questions and be ready for a robust dynamic conversation!

Registration is no longer available because the registration deadline has passed.
